Most of us learned it at one time, and we still teach it today. In fact, teaching fire safety in the schools is one of our primary focuses for public education. We provide age-specific presentations that include creating a fire escape plan, the importance of not playing with matches and CPR and First Aid for older classes. That’s why we enjoy being part of local events such as Birch Bay Discovery Days, hosting blood drives, and of course being part of the annual 4th of July parade.
